accidents, that's almost 3 people each day and 1000 people killed annually. The best way to manage your employees at-work road safety is by developing, and implementing, a road safety policy.

There is a FREE Driving for Work Road Safety Conference, including free lunch andrefreshments, on a selection of dates listed below. Work related road accidents are the biggest cause of accidental road deaths, and due to new legislation, companies can be exposed legally for not managing the safety of their employees who will be driving for work (this includes more than just deliveries, including simply driving to meetings etc.

With the help of Central Government's Highways Agency, a short, 3 hour conference is being provided for businesses at a variety of dates and locations across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough between November 30th 2009 and February 26th 2010

By attending one of the courses and producing and implementing a sound
road safety policy, you will be able to illustrate your commitment to
the importance of road safety at work and help ensure that your
company is not unwittingly exposed by the Corporate Manslaughter and
Corporate Homicide ACT 2007 in the event of employee road accidents.
