Learn to Make your own Clay Oven
From April to October 2010, Real Clay Ovens will be running one day courses at the Wandlebury Country Park near Cambridge, owned and managed by local charity, Cambridge Past Present & Future. You will be shown, hands on, how to build your own oven, how to bake bread in your oven and other foods to cook. The one day course includes a full lunch cooked in a clay oven to experience the real cooking effect.

Isle Singers and Friends Concert for CamSAR
At 8pm on May 5th a concert is being held by the Isle Singers and friends in aid of CamSAR (Cambridgeshire Search and Rescue) - a voluntary organisation who are on call to the Police 24/7. CamSAR search for missing vulnerable people.
Tickets cost £5 (including refreshments) and are available from Burrows Bookshop Ely or by telephoning 01353 662775 (answerphone). You are invited to come and be entertained whilst helping support a very worthy cause.

Star Shine Stroll iii
Star Shine Stroll 2010 – Girls, sign up for another night to remember!
Last year the streets of Cambridge were awash with green t-shirts, fairy wings and tutus – all creating quite a stir! Over 300 ladies joined in the ‘Ultimate Girls Night Out’ and helped raise over £30,000 for Arthur Rank House. Why not join hundreds of other ladies this year and help us make even more of an impact on the streets in pajamas with a sparkle.
The 10 mile walk is on 8 May, starts and finishes at Shelford Rugby Club. Registration is £15 and includes a Star Shine Stroll t-shirt, finishers medal, bacon butty and goody bag.
