We are a local collaberation, mainly doing covers but beginning to write our own songs. We do a lot of local contests. We also competed in Open Mic UK where we qualified in the top 4 of around 400 acts

> The Mixed Up Kind

Hello, We are a three piece from Cambridge. We play psychedelic folk rock. Inspired by Pentangle, Fairport Convention, Gong, Trader Horne, Mellow Candle, H.P.Lovecraft, Brian Auger and Julie Driscol.
We have enjoyed playing in local venues over the summer and are looking forward to hosting a gig and supporting Circulus in Febuary.

• Shortlisted finalists will be chosen by Star Radio and their decision will be final
• Star Radio reserves the right to play, feature, comment on any band, singer or group once entered throughout the process
• The finalist will be offered the prize listed below - to be taken at the HUB Sound Studios in Cambridge. This prize cannot be transfered.
• The Singer or Band MUST live in the local area (within Cambridgeshire) entrants outside of this requirement will not be processed.

The prize - a full day recording and mixing in a professional recording studio with VIP treatment for the winning musician or band. The winners will also have the CD artwork designed by our in house designer/photographer working with their current styling or working towards creating a new image.

The 5 shortlisted finalists also receive the offer of a half price recording session chosen from our specially designed packages.

Every recording session culminates in a copy of the CD for every band member in a personalised case.
