To get to indulge in playing rock music for three hours every Sunday. Always a pleasure, never a chore.

It's got to be The Backs - very calming in all seasons and extremely beautiful.

Who would you most like to have round for dinner?
Probably Axl Rose. The man is so elusive, hardly ever gives interviews and is a total enigma. Actually... that makes him sound like a very dull guest, so I'll go for Angelina Jolie... but only if she washes up.

What's your favourite film ever?
'Backbeat' - the story of Stuart Sutcliffe, the Beatle who died before the band became famous.

Which sitcom character are you most like?
Probably Les Battersby from Corrie due to our total love of Status Quo!
