Boy seriously hurt after attack in Grand Arcade

A 15 year old boy has been seriously hurt after he was punched in the Grand Arcade in Cambridge on Saturday (August 6) afternoon.
He was confronted by one of the attackers at about 3pm. He pushed him away but was punched, causing him to stumble.
The accomplice then punched the victim, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground.
The victim was taken to hospital where he received treatment for serious injuries.
DC Paul Thornton, who is investigating, said: "We know there were a number of people around at the time and we would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened."

Two 15-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with the attack and have been released on police bail to return to Parkside Police Station on September 29.
