Carling Cup: Six Championship Sides Out

Six Championship sides have been knocked out of the Carling Cup in the first round, with five of them losing to League Two opposition at home.
Derby County lost to Shrewsbury, Portmouth were beaten at Fratton by Barnet, Hull lost to Macclesfield, Barnsley were beaten by Morecambe, and Ipswich by Northampton.
