February 2012 – The Liam Fairhurst Foundation

A charity set up in memory of Liam Fairhurst. Liam died from cancer aged 14.

Star started the fundraising off for Liam Fairhurst allowing him to raise over £320,000 before he died. The family felt it would only be right to take the Foundation to the next level to help even more children locally.

The Trust aims to help Young Heroes who have been affected by illness/injury and to assist existing charities who promote positive Young Persons such as the Diana Awards and the Young Person of the Year Award this being done at a local level.
