Conquering the Antarctic
A century ago, Captain Scott and his team set out on an epic adventure...to be first to the South Pole.
Now leading UK orchestra, City of London Sinfonia retell the story of this ill-fated expedition through Scott's own inspirational words, moving film music and original photography from the tour.
Hear music from the film Scott of the Antarctic by British composer Ralph Vaughan Williams, interwoven with readings from Scott's own diary and letters, and the ethereal Symphony No 7 (Sinfonia Antartica); a personal tribute to Scott and his men, performed alongside stunning projections of original tour photographs by Herbert Ponting.

Saint's Crafters Craft Fair
Member and guest exhibitors get together to sell high quality homemade crafts at the Free Church in St Ives on the first Saturday of each month.
Stalls include textile art, fused and stained glass, hand painted china, jewellery, bead work, greetings cards, scented soap and candles, patchwork, fabric bags and more besides. A selection of photos can be found on the website below.
There is a tombola which raises money for a different charity each year - currently Dreamdrops.
Enrty is free.
