Swishing, the new clothes and accessory swapping craze, is coming to Great Shelford. The idea is to bring along quality clothes and accessories that were tucked away, unloved in your wardrobes. Then, other girls fall in love with them and give them a good home. You can select hats, scarves, belts, jewellery and shoes as well as clothing. Guests may claim any items up to the number of things they brought. The event takes place at 8pm, Friday 12 March at Great Shelford Memorial Hall and is in aid of Rainbow Pre-school. Mothers Day Dip with a Nip
We're looking for hardy people to take a dip in the icy cold lake at the Mepal Centre, Chatteris, Near Ely on Mothering Sunday 14th March to raise money to help children with cancer.
The registration fee is £10 and participants need to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship. Fancy Dress is recommended.
All participants will receive a free T-Shirt and a nip of whisky to warm you up after the dip.
